We have to choose between positive and negative constantly in our mind whether we are conscious of it or not. And more often is the negative and suspicion that come first when we are encountered a challenge or a different opinion, or things that we know not of, or being informed ahead of time.
Yesterday I was really having this experience in my mind so vividly, so real that I was battling between thinking positively or negatively about a situation that came up in our centre which we found it in a mess with the owner doing something to the electrical work. Back and forth, back and forth, negative or positive, good or bad about the person and the situation. It's so real that I had to make a conscious effort to choose the positives.
I started to think positive sides of the things and person more, giving it a benefit of a doubt, started being busy with other things instead, shifted my focus on the teaching the kids. Once I decided to think positive I could see the positive act from the owner, he started to clean up and sweeping up the mess by the electrician. Wow, the power of positive thinking, not without a fight and effort to choose the positives. I won!
